Your world is no longer safe.
A countdown warning sounds 60 seconds before each disaster, and a craftable Storm Siren relays it across your base.
Each disaster asks for its own answer: take cover from falling meteors, run from a tornado that rips up blocks and pulls in mobs, jump the fissures of an earthquake, stay under a roof by a fire in a blizzard, put out the fires of an ash storm.
Thunderstorms, hailstorms, acid rain and wildfires join them. Reinforced Glass, an Insulated Parka, a Gas Mask and Emergency Rations help you get through.
Meteorite ore lies in craters and deep underground. Smelt it into starmetal: a full tool set and armor with abilities of their own. Frequency, block damage and each disaster can be set from the Disaster Radio.

Meteor shower
Three meteor sizes, real explosions and craters full of meteorite ore.
Tornado
Moves across the land, rips up blocks, pulls in mobs and calls lightning.
Earthquake
The ground shakes and fissures open around the players.
Blizzard
A freeze meter fills outdoors. A roof and a fire keep you safe.
Ash storm
Ash falls and lava bombs set the land on fire.
Starmetal gear
Pickaxe and shovel that dig 3 by 3, an axe that fells trees, a hoe that tills 3 by 3, a sword that calls meteors.
Starmetal armor
A full set that resists fire, falling stars and blasts while a disaster is raging.

Thunderstorms, hailstorms, acid rain and wildfires, each with its own way to survive.
Survival gear
Insulated Parka against the cold, Gas Mask against acid and ash, Emergency Rations, Reinforced Glass.
